Caro Babbo Natale, siamo i Giovani Democratici di Pescara,
quest'anno ci siamo comportati bene, non abbiamo detto parolacce e siamo sempre stati educati con tutti.
Abbiamo tanti desideri, ma non vogliamo chiederti troppo per questo natale, desideriamo solo avere una amministrazione vera per Pescara, che si occupi dei problemi dei più deboli, che sappia ascoltare le nuove generazioni e che sappia concretamente risolvere i problemi di questo territorio.
Desideriamo avere un Sindaco e giunta comunale che facciano meno slogan e che siano più presenti per le strade della città, in grado di raccogliere i disagi di quanti in questà città si sentono stretti e privi di futuro. . La nostra città ha bisogno di luoghi d'arte e di cultura, ha bisogno di strade pulite e non di buche, ha bisogno di verde e aria pulita, di una strada parco libera e di mezzi ecologici al passo con le altre città europee. Pescara desidera essere una città solidale, ma non lo è, ha tanta voglia di essere protagonista del centro-Italia, ma non ce la fa, per colpa di una amministrazione incapace di guardare lontano.
Pescara ha bisogno di alberi veri, e non elettronici, Pescara ha il dovere di aiutare i poveri della città, e non di abbandonarli e farli morire. Vogliamo una città dove ogni quartiere possa avere la propria ludoteca, i suoi luoghi di incontro e di socializzazione.
Pescara merita un campus universitario con la casa dello studente. Pescara ha bisogno di produrre energia solare da tutti gli edifici pubblici. Pescara ha bisogno di implementare la raccolta differenziata "porta a porta" per ridurre l'inquinamento e la tarsu. Pescara deve essere vicina agli anziani e rispondere alle domande di assistenza per i più deboli.
Le giovani coppie pescaresi sognano affitti meno cari, una città a misura di bicicletta, biblioteche e rete wireless gratuita. Pescara ha bisogno di generare nuove opportunità di occupazione. Insomma, caro Babbo Natale, alla fine la lista è venuta lunga, ti chiediamo scusa, ma questa città ha bisogno di una rivoluzione.
Pescara merita di più.

Questa mattina a L’Aquila si è svolta una conferenza stampa per presentare il programma della “II° scuola di Formazione dei Giovani democratici” . Hanno partecipato alla conferenza Stefano Albano, Segretario GD della Provincia dell’Aquila, Marco Rapino Segretario Regionale GD Abruzzo, Federica Mariotti esecutivo Nazionale GD, Andrea Aldini responsabile Nazionale organizzazione GD,  Fausto Raciti, Segretario Nazionale GD e Alfredo Moroni vice Segretario Provinciale PD.
