After a long pause due to harsh winter weather and work commitments we are pressing to resume the construction of our switching layout.
Today we will prepare the ground.
As basic material we use, gypsum or plaster, glue, pigments for fine arts, brush, paper towels, tape beaters and water.
We will create a level ground with shades of brown that will base per successive lavorazioni, la nostra yard sarà prevalentemente in terra battuta con un pò di vegetazione bassa (arbusti, erbe alte) anche se non mancheranno alberi più importanti.
Prima di tutto copriamo i binari con il nastro di carta per proteggerli dalle inevitabili colature di gesso durante le fasi di lavorazione.
Incominciamo mischiando gesso, pigmenti, colla vinilica ed acqua. La colla vinilica serve per evitare che l'impasto seccando si screpoli
Incominciamo con una spatola ad amalgamare i componenti
